The livestock sector is considered the foundation for achieving self-sufficiency, enhancing food security, and supporting the national economy; however, endemic animal diseases in Syria pose one of the most significant challenges. Given that Germany is a leader in the field of biotechnology, the Council’s efforts aim to transfer the latest German technologies in the fields of veterinary medicine and livestock.
